Archie Hamilton returns to Dansu Discs for their 52nd release with a double dose of rhythmic house slammers on the suitably named ‘The Jam’ EP.
The EP kicks off with the titular ‘The Jam’, an M1 heavy groover that cleverly uses hip-house style samples with diva vocals and pitched up elements to full effect for a seriously impressive opener to Archie’s second EP on the imprint. Next up is ‘Mr DJ’, a tripped out beat that effortlessly fuses aspects of classic house through a modern lens to round out a memorable pair of tracks from the UK dance music stalwart.
