Next up from Manchester based label Dansu Discs is a debut EP from Leon called ‘Flip To The Sky’.
The skippy beat of the title track ‘Flip To The Sky’ is met with a b-boy style vocal before erupting into a dynamic, low-slung roller inspired by sounds from a golden UKG era. Next up is ‘Beautiful Girl’, a darker, more rough and ready release, adding depth and dynamism to the overall EP. Rounding things off is ‘Dubsky’ - fittingly named as a pulsating sub commands the track and serves as the driving force in this minimal gem.
